Daily Horse Care:
Horses are fed in the morning and then they are turned out for the day. Stalls are cleaned 7 days a week, barn is swept, waterers are cleaned and so on. Horses are brought back into their stalls for their evening feeding. Fly Predators are used to control flies, manure is removed from pastures once a week and fences are well maintained. Sunday turn-out and turn-in is the responsibility of the owner. Fly Masks and blankets are utilized as weather and/or horse requires. Farrier and Vet care are the responsibility of the owner. Additional feedings and/or individualized care are provided to horses as their needs/health requires.
Training:
Training is provided only to horses boarded on site.
Sue Muir is both a National Reining Horse Association and a Washington State Horsemen judge, and has been training horses professionally for nearly 30 years. Although she specializes in reining, she has trained horses and riders in many disciplines, including hunt seat, saddle seat, western, trail, gaming, and elementary dressage for both show and recreational purposes.
